How is a PCR test performed?
Once the sample has been taken, it is analysed and the results are obtained on the same day, provided the test has been carried out before 12 PM.
When is it advisable to perform a PCR test?
If you have symptoms compatible with the COVID-19 disease: The Spanish Ministry of Health recommends taking a PCR test for those who have an acute respiratory infection combined with other symptoms such as cough, fever, pain when swallowing, diarrhea, loss of smell and / or taste, muscle pain... If you have been in contact with people who have tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus or you have been in a place/environment that causes doubts about a possible infection. It is recommended that you take the PCR test three days after this contact or situation since the viral load may not be sufficient beforehand. If you are travelling to another country, since there are countries that require tourists to carry out and present a PCR test with a negative result in order to travel. If you are going to be in contact with people who are at risk. If you are going to visit or spend time with people over 60 years of age and/or with underlying health conditions.
What does the Fast PCR test detect?
This reference test detects the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus and diagnoses the COVID-19 disease.
When is it advisable to do a Fast PCR test?
If you have symptoms compatible with COVID-19 disease: The Ministry of Health recommends performing a PCR test for those people who present an acute respiratory infection combined with other symptoms such as cough, fever, pain when swallowing, diarrhoea, loss of smell and /or taste, muscle pain… If you have been in contact with people positive for SARS-CoV-2 coronavirusor have been in a place/environment that raises doubts about a possible infection. It is recommended that two days pass after this contact or situation before carrying out this PCR test, since the viral load may not be sufficient beforehand. If you travel to another country, since there are countries that require tourists to carry out and present a PCR test with a negative result in order to travel. If you are going to be in contact with people at risk. If you are going to visit or be with people over 60 years of age and/or with previous pathologies.
How long do the results of a Fast PCR take?
Get the results of your Fast PCR in 2 hours
Are these Fast PCR test good for travel?
Yes, the Fast PCR test is enabled to travel.
How is an antigen test carried out?
The antigen test analyses a sample of nasopharyngeal exudate taken by our laboratory's expert medical staff. To do this, the professional inserts a swab into the mouth and / or the nostrils for less than 30 seconds. Once the sample is taken, it is analysed and we obtain the result of this test in less than 1 hour, which can be: negative, inconclusive or positive. The antigen test is less sensitive than a PCR test and is not recommended to be taken by people without any symptoms.
When is it advisable to take an antigen test?
If you have symptoms compatible with the COVID-19 disease: This antigen test is highly effective in detecting positive cases in patients with symptoms related to COVID-19 such as, for example, cough, loss of smell and / or taste, fever... If you have been in contact with people who have tested positive for COVID-19: The antigen test is very useful to detect positive cases in people who have been in contact with other patients with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. The antigen test can be useful to detect positive cases in the first few days after being in close contact with a patient who has tested positive.
What is the degree of sensitivity and effectiveness of the antigen tests?
We use antigen tests with a sensitivity greater than 91%

Test Anticuerpos

Why should I have an antibody test?
Despite being vaccinated, the generation of antibodies is not the same in everyone. For this reason, through an antibody test like this one, it is possible to find out the presence of these in our body against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
How is an antibody test performed?
Antibody tests are carried out using a blood sample. This is analysed and the result shows whether there are antibodies against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
What is the degree of sensitivity and specificity of this antibody test?
These antibody tests are very reliable since they have a sensitivity greater than 96% and a specificity of 99.9%
Once I have been vaccinated, do I have full immunity to COVID-19?
Despite the fact that the presence of antibodies against COVID-19 is essential to combat this disease and they are obtained from the vaccine, there are no conclusive studies about antibody levels or how long they remain in our body.

Test Virus Respiratorios

Test ELISA

How is an ELISA test carried out?
The ELISA serological test measures antibodies against the SARS-CoV-2 virus through the analysis of a blood sample. This test determines whether or not the patient has antibodies and, if so, to what degree.
If I have antibodies, do I have immunity to COVID-19?
Having antibodies does not mean we are immune to COVID-19. Although their presence in our body is fundamental to combatting the disease, there are no relevant studies that indicate the level of antibodies needed or the amount of time that these remain in our body.
