Imegen’s international business managers, Benigno Neira, PharmD, and Sami Azrak, PhD, and our R&D project coordinator, Carlos Mackintosh, PhD, represented the company at MEDICA 2016 in Dusseldorf, the world’s largest medical event.
From Monday 14th to Thursday 17th our international delegation presented our latest genetics and molecular diagnostics products and services.
“Our participation in MEDICA has been very satisfying. QUIMERA and NextGeneDx NGS kits received wide interest from various global companies and laboratories. We received a big number of visitors at our booth and established important collaboration and distribution agreements”, commented Benigno Neira, our LATAM international business manager.

Five forums and several specialized shows on varies medical-technological topics are presented in the halls as an attractive complement to the trade fair. Medica is clearly structured, because the hall layout is based on the thematic focal point on the trade fair: Electromedicine; Medical technology; Information and communication technology; Physiotherapy, orthopaedic equipment; Disposables, commodities and consumer goods and Laboratory equipment, diagnosis.
